5th Annual Gemini Salsa Competition

Internationally-Recognized GEMINI in association with ESPN International, Albert Torres and the 5th Annual World Salsa Championships are pleased to announce once again one of Portland’s most thrilling and spectacular events of the year The 5th Annual Largest Northwest International Gemini Salsa Competition.

For the first time The 5th Annual Largest Northwest Gemini Salsa Competition looks forward to welcoming the incredible World-Recognized MC promoter of Salsa, Albert Torres, the remarkable dancing talent of World-Recognized World Champion from Canada, Katya Virshilas from the movie "Take the Lead" starring Antonio Banderas, is coming to Portland for the first time.
ESPN Winners Ricardo y Viviana from Colombia, Junior & Emily from San Francisco, and the popular music of World-Recognized Latin Expression Orchestra.

June 12th, 13th & 14th, 2009 marks the 5th Anniversary of the crowd pleasing and awe-inspiring demonstration of the most precise international dancers of our time and welcomes all ages to the most thrilling event Portland has ever known. Tiffany Center with its beautifully finished wooden floor, and full bar is located @ 1410 SW Morrison St. Portland, OR 97205 (14th & Morrison).

The 5th Annual Largest Northwest Gemini Salsa Competition is a fantastic opportunity for everybody young and old to take pleasure in the best international live salsa performances and for one ordinary couple to compete and win the honor to represent Portland, Oregon in the World Salsa Championships at Disney World, Orlando, Florida Winter 2009.
