Once again, on behalf of Hurricane Tumbao Dance Company, we are holding the Salsa Workshop Series in the month of March! Below is the information that you should know about the series:

Topics:
March 3: Cross Body Lead Variations
Have you wanted to improve your creativity for how you use your moves when dancing? This class is perfect for all salsa dancers! We will cover 3-5 different ways to use the cross body lead when dancing. For the ladies, you will learn how different signals trigger the differences in where your lead wants you to go. For the gentlemen, you will learn how to give your follow the signals clearly so she can move with you. This is a can't miss class!
March 10: The 4 fundamental rhythms of salsa
This class is an essential class for beginning to understand how to "feel" the music. We will cover the 4 ways to count when dancing to salsa music. You will learn how to identify in the music, which count is prevalent when the music is being played. This class will be an eye opener the the mystery and secret of how to connect learned material to the right parts in the music.
March 24: Secrets of the Pros
Do you ever find yourself watching salsa video after salsa video asking, "How do they do that?" or "Will I ever be able to dance like that?" This workshop will be about dance secrets that Ricardo has learned from pros that he has trained with. There will be a mix of exercises and practical dance techniques that will inspire you to go home and practice that very night! These are the very techniques and best practices that will allow you to progress faster than you thought you could! This will be a great class that you will be glad you attended.
